The TaSeRnet project is now entering its final year. Over the past years, many valuable initiatives have been launched, including workshops, treatment ­planning peer reviews, and exchange programs that have strengthened collaboration within our community.

During this final year, we are focusing on the development of a guideline for image­-guided proton therapy, as well as the creation of an advanced learning module based on these guidelines. At the same time, it is clear that there is still much more work to be done.

To ensure that the momentum built within TaSeRnet continues beyond the project’s lifetime, we are pleased to announce that these initiatives will be carried forward within Work Package 3 of the European Particle Therapy Network (EPTN). This transition will enable the development of additional guidelines for RTTs, alongside new educational initiatives and exchange programs in the years to come.
